After a heavy start, I decided to go much simpler for my second pac! This Pac was constructed in the same sorta style as the first one; recycling the backpanel/shoulderstraps of an existing bag. The donorbag for this project was a classic herschel supply co simple 'school' style backpack... you know, the traditional tombstone-shaped, zip-over-the-top & pocket ont front jobby...

With a much smaller base, it was clearly gonna be a much smaller bag, so I decided to approach it with my own issue (great way to design btw). My biggest qualm with these sorta bags, at the time; was that: they struggled to fit a crate.

This made me think of what things JUUUST fit more in than they need to & my mind went straight to the iconic VW pop-top camper van. I made it my mission to replicate this sorta function, into the traditional schoolpac silhouette.

Whilst fairly simple in it's construction; this bag taught me SO much & is a design I think about revisiting quite often!
