Well this one might just be for YOU.

As many a you probably know, running a small-business takes time & often requires working multiple jobs! One of my other jobs is for a friendly local clothing brand & being there a couple times a week shows me just how much scrap/waste is made within mass-production.

After a few ideas, tests & discussions, they agreed to let me rummage through the scraps before stuff gets binned & it's now almost became part of my weekly routine at the other job!

The thing with scraps is: they come in all different fabric types, shapes & sizes. The lack of uniformity, typically presents a wall of a challenge; when it comes to regulating an order of processing this byproduct; so most won't.

The thing with Bits (By Be) is I'm not quite like most.. I love saving waste & even a good challenge!

So the approach with this one was to make a beautiful & simple bumbag -BUT the design is informed by the byproduct it's being made out of!

I wanted a dynamic shape -working on forms, which I've already explored within my work. Extruding this form & cutting into it at different angles, allowed me to break-up the outer into a bunch of smaller panels. After a few tests & plenty of adjustments, I present to you, the ScrapperPac!

A single compartment bumbag/cross-body pac. The faceted form a this lil number, works with how your stuff will sit in it, with enough room to keep your pockets empty & never forget those keys again!
